Helsinki

In the winter of 2016, I had the opportunity to live and work in Helsinki for four months. I arrived knowing next to nothing about the city or Finnish culture. Far from home, I hoped to learn as much as possible, but the experience was far richer than I originally anticipated.

During my four months in Helsinki and the nearby cities, I filled several sketchbooks with drawings. For those who have experienced these cities, I hope you can share the nostalgia I feel when revisiting my sketches or see them from a different perspective. For those of you who have never visited any of these places, I hope that the book gives you a glimpse of their beauty.
